เทศกาลแห่เทียนพรรษา
งานประเพณีแห่เทียนพรรษา เป็นประเพณีทางพุทธศาสนา ของชาวอุบลฯ ซึ่งมีความเจริญในพุทธศาสนา วัฒนธรรม และประเพณีมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน ถือเป็นงานบุญที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี โดยได้กำหนดจัดงานขึ้นในวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำเดือน 8 และแรม 1 ค่ำเดือน 8 หรือวันอาสาฬหบูชาและวันเข้าพรรษา จัดให้มีขึ้นทุกปี
โดยเทศการนี้มีเอกลักษณ์คือการนำเทียนมาแกะสลักเป็นงานศิลปะหัตถกรรมมีความวิจิตรบรรจงในการทำมากสวยงามละเอียดอ่อน ซึ่งสถานที่จัดเทศกาลนี้คือที่จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ทางภาคอีสานของประเทศไทยซึ่งมีการจัดขึ้นทุกปีและมีการแข่งขันขบวนเทียนแกะสลักที่สวยงามเป็นจำนวนมากเป็นที่ดึงดูดให้นักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วทุกสารทิศแห่พากันมาชมความงามและละเอียดอ่อนของการแกะสลักเทียน
