กำหนดความสูงของตัวอักษรตามพื้นที่ของฉลาก คือ
พื้นที่ไม่เกิน 100 ตารางซม ความสูงของตัวอักษรไม่น้อยกว่า 1 mm
พื้นที่100-250 ตารางซม ความสูงของตัวอักษรไม่น้อยกว่า 1.5 mm
พื้นที่มากกว่า 250 ตารางซม ความสูงของตัวอักษรไม่น้อยกว่า 2 mm
