จังหวัดชัยภูมิ ร่วมกับ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย
(ททท.) สำนักงานนครราชสีมา และหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้อง ขอเชิญทุกท่านร่วม “หยิบหมอก หยอกดอกกระเจียว” งานเทศกาลท่องเที่ยวดอกกระเจียวงามจังหวัดชัยภูมิ ประจำปี 2556 ในระหว่างวันที่ 1 มิถุนายน- 31 กรกฎาคม 2556 ณ อุทยานแห่งชาติป่าหินงาม อำเภอเทพสถิต และ อุทยานแห่งชาติไทรทอง อำเภอหนองบัวระเหว จังหวัดชัยภูมิ

อุทยานฯป่าหินงาม ตั้งอยู่ ต.บ้านไร่ อ.เทพสถิต จ.ชัยภูมิ ห่างจากกรุงเทพฯ เพียง 270 กม..

แหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่:
1. ลานหินงาม เป็นลานหินมีรูปร่างแปลกตาในพื้นที่ กว่า 10 ไร่ เกิดจากการกัดเซาะของเนื้อดินและหิน จึงมีรูปลักษณ์ที่แตกต่างกัน เช่น หินตะปู หินรูปเรดาห์ หินรูปปราสาทโบราณ ฯลฯ
2. ดอกกระเจียว หรือเรียกอีกชื่อหนึ่งว่า บัวสวรรค์ มีสีชมพูอมม่วง ซึ่งเป็นดอกไม้ประจำขุนเขาพังเหยแห่งนี้ เมื่อถึงฤดูฝน ดอกกระเจียวสีชมพูอมม่วงจะบานสะพรั่งเต็มท้องทุ่งหญ้าเพ็กสีเขียว ผสมกับไอหมอกและลมเย็นโชยมาเอื่อยๆ ทำให้ผู้มาเยือนประทับใจ กับท้องทุ่งประดุจสวรรค์แห่งนี้
3. สุดแผ่นดิน เป็นจุดที่สูงที่สุดของเทือกเขาพังเหยแห่งนี้ อยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานฯ ประมาณ 2 กม.สูงจากระดับน้ำทะเลปานกลาง 846 ม. เป็นแนวรอยต่อระหว่างภาคอีสานกับภาคกลาง ที่จุดชมวิวแห่งนี้จะมองเห็นวิวของสันเขาสลับซับซ้อนกันสวยงามมาก ปะทะกับสายลมที่พัดผ่านเย็นสบายตลอดวัน แม้ในฤดูร้อน
การเดินทาง
• จากกรุงเทพฯ เดินทางไปตามถนนพหลโยธิน ผ่านสระบุรี ถึงแยกพุแค เลี้ยวขวาเข้าทางหลวงหมายเลข 21 ไปยังบ.ลำนารายณ์ จากนั้นใช้เส้นทางหมายเลข 205 ก่อนเข้าอ.เทพสถิตประมาณ 1 กม.เลี้ยวซ้ายเข้า อ.หนองบัวระเหว ตามทางหมาเลข 2354 ระยะทางประมาณ 15 กม. ถึงทางแยกซ้ายมือเข้า บ้านไร่ (มีป้ายบอกไป อช.ป่าหินงาม) ระยะทางประมาณ 14 กม. ก็ถึงที่ทำการอุทยานฯป่าหินงาม
