เสาชิงช้า ตั้งอยู่หน้าวัดสุทัศน์เทพวราราม เป็นเสาชิงช้าขนาดใหญ่ โครงยึดหัวเสาทั้งคู่ แกะสลักอย่างสวยงาม ทั้งหมดทาสีแดงชาด ตั้งอยู่บนแท่นหินขนาดใหญ่
เสาชิงช้านี้มีความสูง 21 เมตร เส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางฐานกลมประมาณ 10.50 เมตร ฐานกลมก่อเป็นฐานปัทม์ทำด้วยหินล้างสีขาว พื้นบนปูกระเบื้องดินเผาสีแดง มีบันได 2 ขั้น ทั้ง 2 ด้าน ตามแนวโค้งของฐานติดแผ่นจารึกประวัติเสาชิงช้า เสาไม้แกนกลางคู่และเสาตะเกียบ 2 คู่ เป็นเสาหัวเม็ด ล้วนทำด้วยไม้สักกลึงกลม กระจังและหูช้างไม้เป็นลวดลายไทย ติดสายล่อฟ้าจากลวดลายกระจังด้านบนลงดิน
กรมศิลปากรได้ประกาศขึ้นทะเบียนเสาชิงช้าเป็นโบราณสถานสำคัญของชาติเมื่อวัน ที่ 22 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2492 จนถึงวันที่เสาชิงช้าถูกถอดลงมาบูรณะมีอายุรวม 222 ปี
