Hot Plug DetectionIn order to reduce power consumption, the NB7NQ621M redriver monitors the HPD pin of either a DisplayPort or HDMI connector. When no sink device is detected, the redriver will enter the unplug power state and will stay in this state until the HPD signal pin is driven high for more than 2 ms during a plug in event. After detecting a plug in event the redriver will enter into its standby state where it will then be able to perform redriver functions. Once the redriver enters the active or standby state it will not go into unplug state unless the HPD_SNK pin is driven low for more than 2 ms.
