1. การตรวจลงตราประเภทนี้จะออกให้แก่

1. การตรวจลงตราประเภทนี้จะออกให้แก่คนต่างด้าวที่ประสงค์จะเดินทางเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรเพื่อวัตถุประสงค์อย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง ดังต่อไปนี้

- การปฏิบัติหน้าที่ทางราชการ (รหัส F)

- การติดต่อหรือประกอบธุรกิจ และการทำงาน (ฺรหัส B)

- การลงทุนที่ได้รับความเห็นชอบจากกระทรวงที่เกี่ยวข้อง (รหัส IM)

- การลงทุนหรือการอื่นภายใต้ข้อบังคับกฎหมายว่าด้วยการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (รหัส IB)

- การศึกษา ดูงาน และฝึกอบรมต่างๆ (รหัส ED)

- การปฏิบัติหน้าที่สื่อมวลชน (รหัส M)

- การเผยแผ่ศาสนาที่ได้รับความเห็นชอบจากกรมการศาสนา กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ (รหัส R)

- การค้นคว้าทางวิทยาศาสตร์หรือฝึกสอนในสถาบันการค้นคว้า หรือสถาบันการศึกษาในราชอาณาจักร (รหัส RS)

- การปฏิบัติงานด้านช่างฝีมือผู้เชี่ยวชาญ (รหัส EX)

- การอื่น (รหัส O) ได้แก่

1) การเข้ามาใช้ชีวิตในบั้นปลายในฐานะผู้สูงอายุ

2) การเข้ามาในฐานะคู่ความหรือพยานสำหรับการพิจารณาดำเนินคดี

3) การปฏิบัติหน้าที่หรือภารกิจในครอบครัวคนต่างด้าว ซึ่งเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรเป็นการชั่วคราวเพื่อปฏิบัติหน้าที่ทางการทูต กงสุลหรือปฏิบัติภารกิจอื่น โดยเป็นบิดา มารดา คู่สมรส หรือบุตร ซึ่งอยู่ในความอุปการะและเป็นส่วนแห่งครัวเรือนของบุคคลดังกล่าว

4) การปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในฐานะคนรับใช้ส่วนตัวซึ่งเดินทางมาจากต่างประเทศเพื่อมาทำงานตามปกติ ณ ที่พักอาศัยของบุคคลในคณะผู้แทนทางการทูต หรือบุคคลซึ่งมีเอกสิทธิ์เท่าเทียมกัน กับบุคคลซึ่งมีตำแหน่งทางการทูตตามความตกลงที่รัฐบาลไทยได้ทำไว้กับรัฐบาลต่างประเทศ หรือกับองค์การ หรือทบวงการระหว่างประเทศ

5) การให้ความอุปการะแก่หรือรับความอุปการะจากบุคคลสัญชาติไทย หรือบุคคลผู้มีถิ่นที่อยู่ในราชอาณาจักร โดยเป็นบิดา มารดา คู่สมรส หรือบุตร ซึ่งอยู่ในความอุปการะและเป็นส่วนแห่งครัวเรือนของบุคคลดังกล่าว

6) การปฏิบัติหน้าที่ให้แก่รัฐวิสาหกิจ หรือองค์การกุศลสาธารณะ

7) การเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรของผู้เคยมีสัญชาติไทย เพื่อเยี่ยมญาติ หรือขอกลับเข้ามาอยู่ในราชอาณาจักร

8) การเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรเพื่อการรักษาพยาบาล

9) การเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรเพื่อเป็นผู้ฝึกสอนนักกีฬาตามความต้องการของทางราชการ

2. อายุวีซ่า
- 3 เดือน สำหรับการเดินทางเข้าราชอาณาจักรได้ครั้งเดียว (single entry)
- 1 ปี สำหรับการเดินทางเข้าราชอาณาจักรได้หลายครั้ง (multiple entries)

3. ค่าธรรมเนียม 2,000 บาท (single entry) และ 5,000 บาท (multiple entries)

4. ระยะเวลาพำนักในราชอาณาจักร ครั้งละไม่เกิน 90 วัน

5. จำนวนเงินที่คนต่างด้าวต้องมีติดตัวขณะเดินทางเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักร คือ ต้องมีเงินหรือเอกสารที่จะพึงจ่ายหรือแลกเปลี่ยนได้เป็นมูลค่าเท่ากับอัตราแลกเปลี่ยนเป็นเงินไทยคนละไม่น้อยกว่า 20,000 บาท ครอบครัวละไม่น้อยกว่า 40,000 บาท

6. การขยายระยะเวลาพำนักในราชอาณาจักร คนต่างด้าวที่มีคุณสมบัติตรงตามหลักเกณฑ์และเงื่อนไขที่กำหนดโดยสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง จะได้รับการพิจารณาขยายระยะเวลาพำนักให้อยู่ต่อไปในราชอาณาจักรเป็นระยะเวลาครั้งละไม่เกิน 1 ปี ทั้งนี้ คนต่างด้าวสามารถยื่นคำร้องได้ ณ สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง ศูนย์ราชการฯ ถนนแจ้งวัฒนะ กรุงเทพฯ โทร. 02-141-9889 เว็บไซต์ http://www.immigration.go.th/ การพิจารณาอนุมัติขึ้นอยู่กับดุลพินิจของเจ้าพนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง

7. เอกสารที่ใช้ยื่นประกอบในการขอรับการตรวจลงตรา
เนื่องจากการตรวจลงตราประเภทคนอยู่ชั่วคราวครอบคลุมวัตถุประสงค์ของการเดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยหลายประการ เอกสารหลักฐานที่ใช้ยื่นประกอบในการขอรับการตรวจลงตราจึงแตกต่างกันไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการเดินทาง และสถานทูตสถานกงสุลอาจขอให้แสดงเอกสารเพิ่มเติมหรือสัมภาษณ์ผู้ขอรับการตรวจลงตราด้วย

เอกสารที่ต้องนำไปแสดง ได้แก่
- หนังสือเดินทางที่มีอายุใช้งานไม่น้อยกว่า 6 เดือน
- แบบฟอร์มวีซ่าที่กรอกข้อความสมบูรณ์
- รูปถ่ายขนาด 2 ½ นิ้ว จำนวน 2 รูป (ถ่ายในระยะเวลาไม่เกิน 6 เดือน /ไม่สวมหมวกและแว่นตาดำ)

เอกสารประกอบตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการเดินทาง เช่น
การเข้ามาในฐานะเป็นบุคคลในครัวเรือนหรือในความอุปการะ (รหัส O)
- หลักฐานการเป็นบิดา มารดา บุตร / สูติบัตร / ใบสำคัญการสมรส
- หนังสือรับรองการทำงาน ใบอนุญาตทำงานที่ยังมีอายุใช้งาน ของผู้ที่ทำงานในประเทศไทย
- หลักฐานแสดงว่าคู่สมรสเป็นคนสัญชาติไทย หรือเป็นผู้ที่มีถิ่นที่อยู่ในราชอาณาจักร หลักฐานแสดงฐานะทางการเงิน
- หนังสือจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูต สถานกงสุลใหญ่ องค์การระหว่างประเทศ หน่วยงานของรัฐ รัฐวิสาหกิจ แล้วแต่กรณี

- หนังสือตอบรับจากสถานพยาบาลที่ได้รับการรับรองจากหน่วยงานของรัฐในประเทศไทย

คู่ความหรือพยานในศาล (รหัส O)
- หนังสือหรือหมายจากศาลของไทย

การเข้ามาเพื่อใช้ชีวิตในฐานะผู้สูงอายุ (รหัส O)
- ผู้ร้องต้องมีอายุตั้งแต่ 50 ปีบริบูรณ์ขึ้นไป ระบุวัตถุประสงค์ว่าจะขอเข้ามาใช้ชีวิตในฐานะผู้สูงอายุหรือเกษียณ และจะไม่ทำงานในระหว่างพำนักในไทย
- หลักฐานแสดงฐานะทางการเงินหรือหลักฐานการได้รับเงินบำนาญ
(ต้องมีเงินฝากไม่น้อยกว่า 200,000 บาท หรือมีรายได้/บำนาญไม่น้อยกว่าเดือนละ 65,000 บาท)
