____ข้อมูล : เป็นยอดเขาสูงที่สุดในเทือกเขาดอยผาหม่น ติดชายแดนไทย - สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว อยู่ในพื้นที่เขตอำเภอ เทิง จังหวัดเชียงราย ตั้งอยู่ในเขตป่าสงวนแห่งชาติ มีเอกลักษณ์ทางธรรมชาติด้วยลักษณะหน้าผาปลายยอดแหลม เป็นแนวยาวที่ชี้ไปบนฟ้า ทางฝั่งประเทศลาว จึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อเรียกว่า "ภูชี้ฟ้า" นั่นเอง ด้านที่ติดสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว นับเป็นจุดชมวิวที่สวยที่สุด ทั้งนี้ กรมป่าไม้ได้มีคำสั่งให้จัดตั้ง "ภูชี้ฟ้า" เป็นวนอุทยาน เมื่อวันที่ 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2541 ด้วยเนื้อที่ประมาณ 2,500 ไร่ สูงจากระดับน้ำทะเลตั้งแต่ 1,200 เมตร ถึง 1,628 เมตร สำหรับ ไฮไลท์สำคัญของ ภูชี้ฟ้า ต้องยกให้จุดชมวิวทะเลหมอกและพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นที่สวยงาม อีกทั้งทิวทัศน์ของภูเขาสลับซับซ้อนดูกว้างไกล โดยในตอนเช้าจะมีทะเลหมอกปกคลุมในหุบเขาเบื้องล่าง มีพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นผ่านพ้นทะเลหมอก ท่ามกลางทุ่งหญ้า แซมด้วยทุ่งดอกโคลงเคลง (ในช่วงฤดูฝนไปจนถึงฤดูหนาว)
