Seagrass has spread in both tropical and temperate. Seagrass is very important to the coastal ecosystem greatly. The seagrass beds which are the habitat of aquatic animals as a source of living light.Turtles, manatees and in the ecology of the sea grass is also a source of food animals with economic value. This study purpose. To check standards of 6 gene seagrass species, namely (Halodule pinifolia),(Enhalus acorides), (Cymodocea serrulata), (Halodule uninervis),(Halophila ovalis) and (Thalassia hemprichii) by using the standard rbcL gene and gene matK standard in check with the techniques PCR. The results showed that, the DNA bands formed was approximately 700-800 base pairs, and 900-1000 base pairs, respectively.Size is consistent with other crops. Which can be used to develop a DNA barcode. For use in classification or identify a species seagrass.
