การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาชุดการสอนและเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง ของเล่นของใช้ โดยใช้กระบวนการเรียนรู้แบบ 5E (Inquiry cycle) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพไม่น้อยกว่า 80/80 และเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทาการเรียนและเจตคติต่อวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์และหลังใช้ชุดการสอน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2556 โรงเรียนชุมชนเทศบาล3(พินิจพิทยานุสรณ์)กองการศึกษา เทศบาลเมืองนครพนม จังหวัดนครพนม จำนวน 32 คน ได้จากการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม ใช้เวลาทดลอง 8 ชั่วโมง หาประสิทธิภาพของชุดการสอน โดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ยร้อยละ หาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนและเจตคติต่อวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ ก่อนและหลังใช้ชุดการสอนโดยใช้สถิติ Pairet-Samples t-Test
ผลการวิจัย พบว่าชุดการสอนสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง ของเล่นของใช้ โดยใช้กระบวนการเรียนรู้แบบ 5E (Inquiry cycle) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่สร้างขึ้นมามีประสิทธิภาพ 89.93/81.39 และพบว่า ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 เจตคติต่อวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
