หน้าที่ที่ได้รับมอบหมายให้ทำในแต่ละวัน เป็นการฝึกให้เราดูแลฟาร์มเหมือนเป็นเจ้าของฟาร์ม คือเราต้องทำงานทุกอย่างตั้งถอนหญ้า,ปลูกผัก,ใส่ปุ๋ย,ฉีดยาไล่แมลง เนื่องจากที่ Siang Yuan Organic & Ecology Farm มีพื้นไม่มากจึงง่ายต่อการดูแลและการจัดการภายในฟาร์ม
พื้นที่ปลูกผักจะแบ่งอออกเป็น 2 พื้นที่ คือด้านหน้าฟาร์มและด้านหลังของฟาร์ม ด้านหน้าฟาร์มจะมีพื้นที่ปลูกไม่มาก มีการปลูกพืชหลายชนิด ปลูกเป็นพืชผักสวนครัว ผักที่ปลูก ได้แก่ กุ๊ยช่าย กระเจี๊ยบเขียว ข้าวโพดหวาน ถั่วฝักยาว ผักโขมและตะไคร้ ด้านหลังฟาร์มจะมีพิ้นที่ปลูกข้าว ผักที่ปลูก ได้แก่ผักบุ้ง แตงกวา ผักโขม ถั่วฝักยาว สะระแหน่ กระเจี๊ยบเขียว กะกล่ำปลี บวบ พริก ต้นหอม และข้าวโพดหวาน รอบๆแปลงผักจะมีต้นโรสแมรี่ปลูกไว้เพื่อไล่แมลง
การปลูกข้าวที่นี่เป็นปลูกแบบ Hakka เป็นชนเผ่าที่อพยพจากประเทศจีนมาอยู่ที่ไต้หวัน
