BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for maintaining the Human Resources Policies and Procedures to be in line with CHR philosophies and all relevant legal requirements. Ensures that all hotels/resorts achieve its goals by supporting them and administering Human Resources development Functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensures that every hotels/resorts compiles and maintains all Human Resources Policies relating to recruitment, promotions, transfers, personnel administration, industrial and employee relations.

2. Assist every hotels/resorts in recruiting and interviewing Department Heads and some managerial levels.

3. Keep monthly records regarding turnover and vacancies of CHR including the Corporate Office.

4. Assist every hotels/resorts with the preparation and implementation of effective recruitment, mobility transfer and performance review procedures.

5. Administer payroll and related PAF documents regarding probation and annual performance reviews of CHR including the Corporate Office.

6. Provide advice and assistance on CHR Human Resources related matters when required.

7. Ensures job descriptions, HR forms and handbooks are developed and updated on a regular basis for all positions

8. Monitor and handle the process of work permits and visas of both CHR expatriate employees and employees whom receives a job offer or transfer to overseas properties. Liaise with government agencies specifically the labour Ministry and Immigration

9. Acquire and update all benefits available locally and within Centara Hotels and Resorts.
10. Establish all hotel practices and policies concerning personnel and employee relations and be familiar with CHR-HR Standard Operating Procedure to be able to provide suggestions based on the policies.

11. Assist VP-HR in opening new properties regarding HR functions within CHR. Able to travel on business trip from time to time.

12. Lead, join and work with other 4 Business Units (CRC – Central Retail Corporation, CPN – Central Pattana, CMG- Central Marketing Group, and CRG – Central Restaurant Group) as well as CG-Central Group of Companies on special projects/activities.

13. Perform other duties as requested but limited within the HR functions only and or under the Labor Law.

CRITERIA:

1. Bachelor Degree in any field

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial level, preferably international hotels with proven record of achievements in people development

3. Professional Human Resources Management skills and knowledge of working practices and principles in a 5-star hospitality setting

4. Good command of the English language

5. Ability to express effective, clear and concise written and verbal communication

6. Good interpersonal skills

7. Good leadership, organizational and administrative skills
