การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและพัฒนาแอพพลิเคชั่นส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดนครสวรรค์และจังหวัดอุทัยธานี อำนวยความสะดวกให้กับผู้ที่สนใจที่จะมาท่องเที่ยวในจังหวัดนครสวรรค์และจังหวัดอุทัยธานี และเพื่อเป็นการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจการท่องเที่ยวให้ดียิ่งขึ้น โดยในการทำแอพพลิเคชั่นนี้มีการนำเทคโนโลยี Location Based Service (LBS) มาใช้เพื่อให้แอพพลิเคชั่นทำการแจ้งเตือนบอกตำแหน่งของสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวต่างๆ ซึ่งจะทำการแจ้งเตือนให้แก่ผู้ใช้งานได้เมื่อเข้าใกล้สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวนั้นๆ ในระยะ 10 กิโลเมตร และนำทางไปยังสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวนั้นๆ โดยการศึกษาเริ่มจากการรวบรวมข้อมูลเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง และใช้โปรแกรม Eclipse ในการพัฒนาแอพพลิเคชั่น
ดังนั้นจากที่กล่าวมาผู้ศึกษาคิดว่าแอพพลิเคชั่นส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดนครสวรรค์และจังหวัดอุทัยธานี น่าจะเป็นประโยชน์และสามารถช่วยส่งเสริมทางด้านเศรษฐกิจได้เป็นอย่างดี
