ปัจจุบันนี้การศึกษาไทยมีการพัฒนามากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ เพื่อให้ก้าวทันประเทศที่มีความเจริญทั้งทางด้านการศึกษา เศรษฐกิจ และสังคม โดยเน้นให้ผู้เรียนมีความรู้รอบด้านและสามารถนาไปใช้ได้ในทุกๆสายอาชีพ ดังตอนนี้จะเห็นได้ว่า การศึกษาไม่ว่าจะชาติใด ประเทศใดก็จะให้ความสำคัญกับภาษาอังกฤษเป็นอย่างมาก เพราะภาษาอังกฤษถือว่าเป็นภาษาสากลที่ใช้เกือบทั่วทุกมุม ภาษาที่ใช้ในการทางการของอาเซียนคือ ภาษาอังกฤษ เมื่อเป็นอย่างนี้แล้ว การศึกษาทั่วทุกมุมโลกจึงเน้นที่จะเสริมสร้างให้นักเรียนได้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษ และนำไปใช้ในอนาคตต่อไป
