ยุภาพร ทองน้อย  และ บงกชสิทธิ สมจินต์ (2550 : บทคัดย่อ) งานวิจัยนี้ได้ศึกษาความพึงพอใจการใช้บริการห้องสมุดคณะแพทยศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นประจำปีการศึกษา 2548 ดำเนินการแจกแบบสอบถามให้กับผู้ที่เข้ามาใช้ บริการห้องสมุดฯระหว่างเดือนพฤษภาคมถึงเดือนสิงหาคม  พ.ศ. 2548 จำนวน 350 ชุด ไดรับแบบสอบถามคืน 301 ชุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 86 ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามร้อยละ 79.73 เป็นผู้ ใช้ บริการหลัก และ ร้อยละ  20.27 เป็นผู้ใช้บริการรอง มีความถี่ในการเข้าใช้ห้องสมุดและการสืบค้นข้อมูลออนไลน์ โดยเฉลี่ยเดือนละ  12 ครั้งและ 8 ครั้ง ตามลำดับ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้บริการที่มีต่อการดำเนินงานของหองสมุดคณะแพทย์ศาสตร์ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( X=2.35) สำหรับด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดคือสภาพบรรยากาศของหองสมุด (X=2.62) รองลง มาคือ บริการยืมคืน (X=2.54) และด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุด คือ บริการถ่ายเอกสาร  (X=2.17) รองลงมาคือ ความทันสมัยของโสตทัศนวัสดุ ซึ่งได้ แก่ วีดิทัศน์ สไลด์เทปบันทึกเสียง แผนที่ โปสเตอร์ (X=2.19) ขอเสนอแนะที่ผู้ใช้ บริการต้องการให้ห้องสมุดปรับปรุงมากที่สุด 3 ลำดับแรก  คือ 1)ปรับปรุงระเบียบการให้บริการ 2) ขยายเวลาเปิดให้บริการ และ  3) ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศไม่ทันสมัยและไม่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการ
