(๙) ท่านทั้งหลายอย่าได้มีความอิดหนาระอาใจ ในการที่จะต้องฟังธรรมเทศนา ไม่ว่าจะแสดงโดยใคร ที่ไหน และเวลาใด และแม้ว่าจะเป็นการซ้ำซากเพียงใดด้วยฯ

(๑๐) อาหารที่เราบริโภคประจำวันนั้น ซ้ำซาก คือไม่มีอะไรมากไปกว่า ข้าว ปลา เนื้อ ผัก ผลไม้ เราก็ยังกินกันอยู่ทุกวัน ไม่มีเบื่อ ถึงทีที่จะต้องให้อาหารทางใจอย่างซ้ำซากบ้าง ทำไมเราต้องเบื่อเล่าฯ

(๑๑) อาหารมีข้าวปลาเป็นต้น ที่เราบริโภคอย่างซ้ำซากทุก ๆ วัน แม้จะซ้ำซากอย่างไรมันก็ทำให้ร่างกายเจริญเติบโตได้ ทั้งที่ซ้ำ ๆ ซาก ๆ อาหารใจที่ต้องเป็นอย่างเดียวกัน คือ ทำให้ใจเจริญได้ทั้งที่เป็นการซ้ำ ๆ ซาก
