รายงานสหกิจศึกษาเรื่องนี้เป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับ จัดทำขึ้นโดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการปรับปรุงการจัดเก็บเอกสารของแผนก Sea export กรณีศึกษา บริษัท Kerry Freight (Thailand) สำหรับนำไปเป็นข้อมูลและแนวทางในการศึกษา ปรับปรุงการจัดเก็บเอกสาร ผู้ศึกษาได้เลือกใช้หลักการ ทฤษฎี ECRS และเครื่องมือMicrosoft Excel มาปรับปรุงการจัดเก็บเอกสาร โดยวิเคราะห์หาสาเหตุของปัญหาจากแผนผังก้างปลา จากนั้นนำหลักการ ECRSและเครื่องMicrosoft Excel มาใช้ปรับปรุง เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในกระบวนการทำงาน
จากผลการศึกษาพบว่า กระบวนการทำงานมีระยะเวลานาน เนื่องจากความผิดพลาดในการจัดเก็บเอกสารมีความสิ้นเปลืองในการใช้กระดาษ และเกิดการยากในการค้นหาเอกสารของแผนกตนทำให้เกิดความล้าช้าในการทำงาน ทั้งนี้ยังพบว่าในขั้นตอนของค้นหาเอกสารนั้น มีความยุ่งยาก ไม่เป็นระเบียบ จึงก่อให้เกิดความล่าช้า รวมถึงความผิดพลาดที่ตามมา และอาจส่งผลกระทบไปยังส่วนงานอื่นที่เชื่อมโยงงานระหว่างกัน จึงได้นำหลักการ ECRS และเครื่องมือMicrosoft Excel โดยใช้ฟังก์ชั่น Vlookup และการจัดทำ Template มาประยุกต์ใช้ เพื่อปรับปรุงกระบวนการทำงานให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งนี้ยังช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการค้นหาเอกสาร รวดเร็วและง่ายขึ้น
