การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อจัดทำโปรแกรมระบบฐานข้อมูลการบริหารจัดการเงินเดือน วิทยาเขตจันทบุรี 2) เพื่อจัดให้มีฐานข้อมูลที่สามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์กับผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง 3) เพื่อจัดทำฐานข้อมูลเงินเดือนสนับสนุนการปฏิบัติงานให้กับเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง 4) เพื่อจัดให้มีฐานข้อมูลเงินเดือนที่เป็นศูนย์กลางการบริการของวิทยาเขตจันทบุรี
โดยแบ่งผู้ใช้งานออกเป็น 2 ประเภท คือ ผู้ดูแลระบบ คณาจารย์และบุคลากรในสถาบัน ซึ่งผู้ใช้งานแต่ละประเภทก็จะมีสิทธิหน้าที่ในการใช้ระบบ เหมือนและแตกต่างกันออกไปตามประเภทของผู้ใช้งาน
นอกจากนี้ระบบยังได้พัฒนาโดยภาษา PHP ใช้ jQuery เป็นตัวกลางในการเรียกใช้ข้อมูล ใช้ระบบการจัดการฐานข้อมูล MySQL เก็บข้อมูลทั้งหมดที่เกี่ยวกับระบบพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลการบริหารจัดการเงินเดือน วิทยาเขตจันทบุรี และใช้ Bootstrap , Font Awesome เพื่อเพิ่มความสวยงานและความน่าสนใจให้กับตัวระบบ
