กู่สันตรัตน์ตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลกู่สันตรัตน์ อำเภอนาดูน จังหวัดมหาสารคาม ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากที่ว่าการอำเภอนาดูน ไปทางทิศตะวันออก ประมาณ 4 กิโลเมตร สร้างด้วยศิลาแลงเป็นศิลปะขอมแบบ บายน มีรูปลักษณะปราสาทหินที่มีปรางค์ประธานเป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัตมีมุขด้านหน้ายื่นไปทางทิศตะวันออก มีบรรณาลัยซึ่งเป็นที่เก็บคัมภีร์ทางศาสนาตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันนออกเฉียงใต้หันหน้าเข้าหาปรางค์ประธาน อาคารทั้ง 2 ล้อมด้วยกำแพงศิลาแลงซึ่งสร้างยังไม่เสร็จเรียบร้อยอีกชั้นหนึ่ง กู่สันตรัตน์สร้างขึ้นมาด้วยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประดิษฐานรูปเคารพสำหรับประกอบพิธีกรรมทางศาสนา และเป็นโรคยาศาล คือเป็นที่พักรักษาพยาบาลคนเจ็บป่วยอีกด้วย พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ ทรงเคยเสด็จทอดพระเนตร และทรงเยี่ยมราษฎรที่กู่สันตรัตน์แห่งนี้เมื่อวันที่ 27 ตุลาคม พ.ศ.2514
