ปราสาทศีขรภูมิ ตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลระแงง ห่างจากตัวเมืองสุรินทร์ 34 กิโลเมตร ตามเส้นทางหมายเลข 226 โดยอยู่ห่างจากที่ว่าการอำเภอไปอีก 1 กิโลเมตร ปราสาทศรีขรภูมิประกอบด้วยปรางค์อิฐ 5 องค์ องค์กลางเป็นปรางค์ประธาน มีปรางค์บริวารล้อมรอบอยู่ที่มุมทั้งสี่บนฐานเดียวกัน ก่อด้วยหินทรายและศิลาแลง ปราสาทหันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออก มีบันไดทางขึ้นและประตูทางเข้าเพียงด้านเดียวคือด้านทิศตะวันออกปรางค์ทั้งห้าองค์มีลักษณะเหมือนกัน คือ องค์ปรางค์ไม่มีมุข มีชิ้นส่วนประดับทำจากหินทรายสลักเป็นลวดลายต่างๆ ทั้งส่วนที่เป็นทับหลังและเสาประดับกรอบประตู เสาติดผนัง และกลีบขนุนปรางค์ ส่วนหน้าบันเป็นอิฐประดับลวดลายปูนปั้น องค์ปรางค์ประธานมีทับหลังสลักเป็นรูปศิวนาฏราช (พระอิศวรกำลังฟ้อนรำ) บนแท่น มีหงส์แบก 3 ตัวอยู่เหนือเศียรเกียรติมุข มีรูปพระคเนศ พระพรหม พระวิษณุ และนางปารพตี (นางอุมา) อยู่ด้านล่าง เสาประตูสลักเป็นลวดลายเทพธิดาลายก้ามปูและรูปทวารบาล
