งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการตัดสินใจของผู้บริหารและศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้บริหาร และบุคลากรที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องที่มีต่อระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการตัดสินใจของผู้บริหาร สำนักศึกษาทั่วไป มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ ผู้บริหารและบุคลากรสำนักศึกษาทั่วไป มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 53 คน โดยมีผู้บริหาร 7 คน และบุคลากร 46 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการพัฒนาโปรแกรมได้แก่ โปรแกรมภาษา PHP ระบบฐานข้อมูล My SQL โดยพัฒนาเป็น Web Application เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลได้แก่ แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจการใช้ระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการตัดสินใจของผู้บริหาร ผลการศึกษาพบว่าโดยภาพรวมทั้งผู้บริหารและบุคลากรสำนักศึกษาทั่วไปมีความพึงพอใจการใช้ระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการตัดสินใจของผู้บริหารอยู่ในระดับมาก
