ชายคนหนึ่งเอ่ยขึ้นพร้อมกับก้มลงไปหยิบขวานขึ้นมาถือเอาไว้
“ไม่เราสองคนเจอพร้อมกัน เจ้าจะบอกว่าเจ้าพบก่อนได้อย่างไรกันเล่า”
ในขณะนั้นเองชายผู้เป็นเจ้าของขวานผ่านมาจึงได้เอ่ยขึ้นว่า
“ขวานของข้าอยู่นั่นนี่เอง พวกเจ้าเป็นขโมยที่เอาขวานของข้าไป”
“แย่เเล้วหละพวกเรา” ชายที่ถือขวานร่ำร้อง
เพื่อนเกลอของเขาจึงรีบกล่าวขึ้นว่า
“อย่าพูดว่า “พวกเรา” สิ ข้าไม่เกี่ยวข้องอะไรด้วยเลยนะ”
