กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา พยากรณ์อากาศประจำวันนี้ (30 มกราคม 2558) เผยลักษณะอากาศทั่วไป บริเวณความกดอากาศสูงกำลังปานกลางอีกระลอกหนึ่งได้ปกคลุมประเทศจีนตอนใต้  และจะแผ่ลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและทะเลจีนใต้ในคืนนี้ ทำให้ในช่วงวันที่ 31 มกราคม-2 กุมภาพันธ์ 2558 บริเวณประเทศไทยตอนบนจะมีอากาศเย็นลงเล็กน้อย และบริเวณภาคกลางตอนล่าง กับชายฝั่งภาคตะวันออกมีฝนเล็กน้อยบางแห่ง
สำหรับมรสุมตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือที่พัดปกคลุมภาคใต้และอ่าวไทยจะมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ทำให้ภาคใต้มีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น ส่วนอ่าวไทยตอนล่างตั้งแต่จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานีลงไป จะมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร ในระยะนี้บริเวณประเทศไทยตอนบนยังคงมีหมอกในตอนเช้า และมีหมอกหนาในหลายพื้นที่ ขอให้ประชาชนระมัดระวังในการสัญจรผ่านบริเวณที่มีหมอกหนาไว้ด้วย
