การใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เป็นการใช้ชีวิตแบบปกติของนักศึกษาทั้วไป แต่จะเน้นการพูดคุยและมีการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษเป็นส่วมใหญ่ ซึ่งอาจจะยากและไม่ค่อยชินเมื่อเราเข้ามาอยู่ใหม่ และยังปรับตัวไม่ค่อยได้ แต่ในปัจจุบัน ฉันเริ่มปรับตัวได้แล้วและยังมีเพื่อนที่คอยช่วยกันทบทวนบทเรียน และให้คำปรึกษาซึ่งกันและกัน มีครูที่คอยให้คำชี้แนะ ในตอนเย็นหลังเลิกเรียนจะมีกิจกรรมต่างๆให้น้องๆปี1ทุกคนได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม เป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ซึ่งกันและกันระหว่างรุ่นพี่รุ่นน้อง และเพื่อนปี1ด้วยกันเอง แต่หากวันไหนไม่มีกิจกรรมฉันและเพื่อนๆจะพากันออกมากินข้าว และซื้อของกันที่หน้ามหาวิทยาลัย เพราะจะทำให้ได้พบปะผู้คนมากมาย อาหารอร่อย และมีบรรยากาศที่ดีอีกด้วย
