วันนี้เราไม่ได้เรียนเพราะเป็นวันหยุด ในโอกาสที่กำลังจะขึ้นปีใหม่นี้ ดิฉันได้ทำบุญตักบาตรข้าวสารอาหารแห้งซึ่งเป็นประเพณีอย่างหนึ่งที่ชาวพุทธปฏิบัติกัน ผู้คนที่ออกมาตักบาตรจะนำของทำทานต่างๆ เช่น ข้าว สารอาหารแห้ง มาถวายพระเพื่อเสริมความเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ชีวิต และประเพณีนี้ชาวพุทธถือกันว่าเป็นการสร้างกุศล และถือว่าเป็นการแผ่ส่วนกุศลให้กับญาติผู้ล่วงลับไปแล้วด้วย โดยเชื่อกันว่าอาหารที่ถวายไปนั้นจะส่งถึงญาติผู้ล่วงลับด้วยเช่นกัน
