ผมคิดว่าเด็กๆหลายคนเมื่อเกือบ 40 ปีก่อน..ยังคงจดจำการ์ตูนมวยปล้ำเรื่อง หน้ากากเสือ ได้อย่างไม่รู้ลืม..อนิเมชั่นเรื่องนี้มาฉายครั้งแรกในเมืองไทยของเราทุกบ่ายสองโมงวันอาทิตย์..ทางช่อง 4..เมื่อพ.ศ.2513..(ปัจจุบันปรับเปลี่ยนกลายเป็นช่อง 9 โมเดิร์นไนน์ทีวี)..น่าจะเรียกได้ว่าเป็นการ์ตูนมวยปล้ำทางทีวีเรื่องแรกที่มีทั้งฉากบู๊ที่ตื่นเต้นเร้าใจ..ผสมผสานกับภาพชีวิตของเหล่าตัวละครในแบบดราม่าเข้มข้น..ในสมัยนั้นไม่ว่าเด็กหรือผู้ใหญ่ต่างก็ติดอกติดใจคอยตามชมการ์ตูนเรื่องนี้ทุกสัปดาห์..ความทรงจำเกี่ยวกับเนื้อเรื่องและความสนุกสนานในการ์ตูนเรื่องหน้ากากเสืออาจจางๆไปบ้างตามกาลเวลา..แต่สิ่งหนึ่งที่ยังไม่เคยจางหายไปจากใจแฟนการ์ตูนก็คือเพลงจากอนิเมชั่นเรื่องนี้..ทั้งเพลงเปิดเรื่อง (Opening Theme) และ เพลงจบในตอยท้าย (Ending Theme)..
ทั้งสองเพลงยังคงเป็นเพลงอมตะในใจคนรุ่นนั้นตลอดมา..
