ปลาบึก (อังกฤษ: Mekong giant catfish; ลาว: ປາບຶກ; ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Pangasianodon gigas) เป็นปลาน้ำจืดขนาดใหญ่ชนิดหนึ่ง ไม่มีเกล็ด อาศัยอยู่ในแม่น้ำโขงตั้งแต่ประเทศจีน, ลาว, เมียนมาร์, ไทย เรื่อยมาตลอดความยาวของแม่น้ำรวมไปถึงแควสาขาต่าง ๆ เช่น แม่น้ำงึม, แม่น้ำมูล, แม่น้ำสงคราม แต่ไม่พบในตอนปลายของแม่น้ำโขงที่เป็นน้ำกร่อย ซึ่งเป็นจุดที่ไหลออกทะเลจีนใต้[2] เป็นปลาที่เสี่ยงต่อการสูญพันธุ์เนื่องจากการจับปลามากเกินไป คุณภาพน้ำที่แย่ลงจากการพัฒนาและการสร้างเขื่อนบริเวณต้นน้ำ ปัจจุบัน IUCN จัดปลาบึกอยู่ในกลุ่ม Critically Endangered ซึ่งเสี่ยงต่อการสูญพันธุ์มาก ปลาบึก Giant Catfish ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ Pangasianodon gigas ติดอยู่ในบัญชี ไซเตส กลุ่ม 1 ชนิดสัตว์ป่าและซากของสัตว์ป่าท้ายบัญชีอนุสัญญาว่าด้วยการค้าระหว่างประเทศซึ่งชนิดสัตว์ป่า และพืชป่าที่ใกล้สูญพันธุ์ (CITES) (ลำดับที่ 909)
