งานวิจัยเรื่อง ประสิทธิผลการจัดการขยะของประชาชนในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลลาดบัวขา อำเภอสีคิ้ว จังหว้ดนครราชสีมา มีวัตถุประสงค์ 2 ประการคือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาระดับประสิทธิผลในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยของประชาชนในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลลาดบัวขาว 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ก่อให้เกิดประสิทธิผลในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยของประชาชนในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลลาดบัวขาว วิธีการษาเป็นการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ในเขตพื้นที่องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลลาดบัวขาว อ.สีคิ้ว จ.นครราชสีมา ทั้งหมด 5 หมู่บ้าน จากตัวแทนของแต่ละครอบครัว จำนวน 100 ครอบครัว
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การบริหารจัดการขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลลาดบัวขาวและการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในชุมชนนั้น ส่งผลให้ มี ประสิทธิผลในด้านการแปรรูปขยะและนำกลับมาใช้ (Recycle) และลดปริมาณขยะ(Reduce) มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ประสิทธิผลในด้านจิตสำนึกในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอย (Response) และการนำขยะกลับมาใช้ใหม่(Reuse) และสุดท้ายคือ จะส่งผลให้ ประสิทธิผลด้านจิตสำนึกในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอย (Response) และการปฏิเสธผลิตภัณฑ์ที่อันตรายและย่อยสลายยาก (Reject) ซึ่งตรงส่วนนี้จะมีผลน้อยที่สุด ส่วนในการบริหารจัดการขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลลาดบัวขาวและการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในชุมชนนั้น จะไม่ส่งผลต่อ ประสิทธิผลด้านการแปรรูปขยะที่เป็นผ้าเพื่อนำกลับมาใช้ (Recycle)
