Because of the nature of the art branch, the postgraduate education in Vietnam, the upgrade of the qualifications, and standardization of master degree – doctor degree have faced many difficulties. So the postgraduate education cooperation with the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts- Mahasarakham university- Thailand implemented, makes a necessary turning point for our postgraduate education. From 2010 to now 2015, there has been three graduation courses and now is the fourth course with the initial encouraging results.

In the cultural tradition of the two countries Vietnam and Thailand, there are many similarities but also many different things. It is because of the similarities creating the closeness, warmness and harmony in life and art creation of artists in Vietnam and Thailand. And the differences are the valuable attributes making the art of each nation have its own characteristics which is bold and has its own value. That is the difference of the value of art that the two nation, Vietnam and Thailand, have preserved, nurtured and promoted throughout the history of each nation.

We would like to show our great happiness that Vietnamese students have learned extremely useful and valuable things from teachers- artists from Thailand and Thailand colleagues. For young Vietnamese artists, the first worthy thing learning from their teachers in Thailand is their dedication for the art, their care, their nourishment of creative skills of each person, their love, their respect for personal values, creative style of each person in the infinite diversity of art.
