3. หลีกเลี่ยงให้ห่างไกลจากผู้ติดสิ่งเสพย์ติด หรือผู้จำหน่ายสิ่งเสพย์ติด

4. ถ้าพบคนกำลังเสพสิ่งเสพย์ติด หรือจำหน่ายให้รีบแจ้งเจ้าหน้าที่

5. ศึกษาให้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับโทษของสิ่งเสพย์ติด เพื่อจะได้ป้องกันตัวและผู้ใกล้ชิดให้ห่างจากสิ่งเสพย์ติด

6. ต้องไม่ให้ความร่วมมือเข้าไปเกี่ยวข้องกับเพื่อนที่ติดสิ่งเสพย์ติด เช่นไม่ให้ยืมเงิน

7. ไม่หลงเชื่อคำชักชวนโฆษณา หรือคำแนะนำใดๆ หรือแสดงความเก่งกล้าเกี่ยวกับการเสพสิ่งเสพย์ติด
