ประวัติโรงเรียน โรงเรียนสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัยนนทบุรี : Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School (อักษรยอ: ส.ก.น., S.K.N.) เป็น โรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาขนาด ใหญพิเศษประเภทสหศึกษาในเครือสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัยลําดับที่สอง สังกัดสํานักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษานนทบุรี เขต2 สหวิทยาเขตเบญจวิทยา นนทกองการมัธยมศึกษาสํานักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน(ชื่อเดิม: กรมสามัญศึกษา) กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ โดยกรมสามัญศึกษาไดรับบริจาคที่ดินจากนายผาสุกและนางเง็กมณีจักร สองสามีภรรยาคหบดีชาวอําเภอปากเกร็ดที่มีความประสงคใหสรางโรงเรียนใน เครือสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัยบนพื้นที่ดังกลาวจึงเกิดการประสานงานจัดตั้งขึ้นเมื่อวัน ที่ 30 มีนาคมพ.ศ. 2521 เดิมใหชื่อไววา“โรงเรียนสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัย๒(ผาสุก มณีจักร)” และมอบหมายใหผูอํานวยการโรงเรียนสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัยรักษา ราชการในตําแหนงอาจารยใหญของโรงเรียนจนถึงปลายปีถัดมาจึงเปลี่ยนชื่อ โรงเรียนเป็นชื่อที่ใชอยูในปัจจุบันและในปีเดียวกันนางอัมพาแสนทวีสุขไดรับ การแตงตั้งใหเป็นอาจารยใหญคนแรกและเลื่อนฐานะขึ้นเป็นผูอํานวยการคนแรก ของโรงเรียนฯในเวลาตอมา โรงเรียนสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัยนนทบุรี ไดรับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณจาก สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯสยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดําเนินทรงเปิด อาคารเรียน“สธ๑, สธ๒และสธ๓” เมื่อกลางปี พ.ศ. 2525 และปลายปี พ.ศ. 2529 ตามลําดับตลอดจนพระราชทานนามอาคารเรียน“สธ๔” และอาคารหอ ประชุม“สิรินธราลัย” ดวยนอกจากนี้ โรงเรียนฯยังไดรับรางวัลสถานศึกษา พระราชทานประจําปีการศึกษา2532 และ 2544 และในปี พ.ศ. 2541 นักเรียน ของโรงเรียนฯยังไดรับรางวัลเหรียญทองแดงจากการเขารวมการแขงขันฟิสิกส โอลิมปิกที่ประเทศอิตาลี ในฐานะผูแทนประเทศไทยขณะที่นักกีฬาของโรงเรียนฯ ไดรับรางวัลเหรียญทองในฐานะผูแทนทีมชาติไทยจากการเขารวมการ แขงขันวอลเลยบอลชายหาดในการแขงขันกีฬาเอเชียนเกมสครั้งที่ 13 อีกดวย
