พิพิธภัณฑ์[แก้]

กุฏิสุนทรภู่ หรือพิพิธภัณฑ์สุนทรภู่ ตั้งอยู่ที่วัดเทพธิดาราม ถ.มหาไชย กรุงเทพฯ เป็นอาคารซึ่งปรับปรุงจากกุฏิที่สุนทรภู่เคยอาศัยอยู่เมื่อครั้งจำพรรษาอยู่ที่นี่ [50] ปัจจุบันเป็นที่ตั้งของสมาคมนักกลอนแห่งประเทศไทย และมีการจัดกิจกรรมวันสุนทรภู่เป็นประจำทุกปี

วันสุนทรภู่[แก้]

หลังจากองค์การยูเนสโกได้ประกาศยกย่องให้สุนทรภู่เป็นผู้มีผลงานดีเด่นทางวรรณกรรมระดับโลกเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2529 ต่อมาในปี พ.ศ. 2530 นายเสวตร เปี่ยมพงศ์สานต์ อดีตรองนายกรัฐมนตรี ได้จัดตั้งสถาบันสุนทรภู่ขึ้น และกำหนดให้วันที่ 26 มิถุนายนของทุกปี เป็น วันสุนทรภู่[51] นับแต่นั้นทุก ๆ ปีเมื่อถึงวันสุนทรภู่ จะมีการจัดงานรำลึกถึงสุนทรภู่ตามสถานที่ต่าง ๆ เช่น ที่พิพิธภัณฑ์สุนทรภู่ วัดเทพธิดาราม และที่จังหวัดระยอง (ซึ่งมักจัดพร้อมงานเทศกาลผลไม้จังหวัดระยอง) รวมถึงการประกวดแต่งกลอน ประกวดคำขวัญ และการจัดนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับสุนทรภู่ในโรงเรียนต่าง ๆ ทั่วประเทศ

รายชื่อผลงาน[แก้]

งานประพันธ์ของสุนทรภู่เท่าที่มีการค้นพบในปัจจุบันมีปรากฏอยู่เพียงจำนวนหนึ่ง และสูญหายไปอีกเป็นจำนวนมาก ถึงกระนั้นตามจำนวนเท่าที่ค้นพบก็ถือว่ามีปริมาณค่อนข้างมาก เรียกได้ว่า สุนทรภู่เป็น "นักแต่งกลอน" ที่สามารถแต่งกลอนได้รวดเร็วหาตัวจับยาก ผลงานของสุนทรภู่เท่าที่ค้นพบในปัจจุบันมีดังต่อไปนี้

นิราศ[แก้]

นิราศสุพรรณ (ประมาณ พ.ศ. 2374) - แต่งเมื่อครั้งยังบวชอยู่ และไปค้นหายาอายุวัฒนะที่จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี เป็นผลงานเรื่องเดียวของสุนทรภู่ที่แต่งเป็นโคลง
นิราศวัดเจ้าฟ้า (ประมาณ พ.ศ. 2375) - แต่งเมื่อครั้งยังบวชอยู่ และไปค้นหายาอายุวัฒนะตามลายแทงที่วัดเจ้าฟ้าอากาศ (ไม่ปรากฏว่าที่จริงคือวัดใด) ที่จังหวัดอยุธยา เทพ สุนทรศารทูลเสนอว่า นิราศดังกล่าวเป็นผลงานของพัด ภู่เรือหงส์ บุตรของสุนทรภู่[52]
นิราศอิเหนา (ไม่ปรากฏ, คาดว่าเป็นสมัยรัชกาลที่ 3) - แต่งเป็นเนื้อเรื่องอิเหนารำพันถึงนางบุษบา เทพ สุนทรศารทูลเสนอว่า นิราศดังกล่าวเป็นผลงานของกรมหลวงภูวเนตรนรินทรฤทธิ์[52]
รำพันพิลาป (พ.ศ. 2385) - แต่งเมื่อครั้งจำพรรษาอยู่ที่วัดเทพธิดาราม แล้วเกิดฝันร้ายว่าชะตาขาด จึงบันทึกความฝันพร้อมรำพันความอาภัพของตัวไว้เป็น "รำพันพิลาป" จากนั้นจึงลาสิกขาบท
นิราศพระประธม (พ.ศ. 2385) - เชื่อว่าแต่งเมื่อหลังจากลาสิกขาบทและเข้ารับราชการในพระบาทสมเด็จพระปิ่นเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ไปนมัสการพระประธมเจดีย์ (หรือพระปฐมเจดีย์) ที่เมืองนครชัยศรี
นิราศเมืองเพชร (พ.ศ. 2388) - แต่งเมื่อเข้ารับราชการในพระบาทสมเด็จพระปิ่นเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว เชื่อว่าไปธุระราชการอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง นิราศเรื่องนี้มีฉบับค้นพบเนื้อหาเพิ่มเติมซึ่ง อ.ล้อม เพ็งแก้ว เชื่อว่า บรรพบุรุษฝ่ายมารดาของสุนทรภู่เป็นชาวเมืองเพชรบุรี

นิทาน[แก้]
โคบุตร : เชื่อว่าเป็นงานประพันธ์ชิ้นแรกของสุนทรภู่[11] เป็นเรื่องราวของ "โคบุตร" ซึ่งเป็นโอรสของพระอาทิตย์กับนางอัปสร แต่เติบโตขึ้นมาด้วยการเลี้ยงดูของนางราชสีห์
พระอภัยมณี : คาดว่าเริ่มประพันธ์ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 2 และแต่ง ๆ หยุด ๆ เรื่อยมาจนถึงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 4 เป็นผลงานชิ้นเอกของสุนทรภู่ ได้รับยกย่องจากวรรณคดีสโมสรให้เป็นสุดยอดวรรณคดีไทยประเภทกลอนนิทาน
พระไชยสุริยา : เป็นนิทานที่สุนทรภู่แต่งด้วยฉันทลักษณ์ประเภทกาพย์หลายชนิด ได้แก่ กาพย์ยานี 11 กาพย์ฉบัง 16 และกาพย์สุรางคนางค์ 28 เป็นนิทานสำหรับสอนอ่าน เนื้อหาเรียงลำดับความง่ายไปยาก จากแม่ ก กา แม่กน กง กก กด กบ กม และเกย เชื่อว่าแต่งขึ้นประมาณ พ.ศ. 2383 - 2385
ลักษณวงศ์ : เป็นนิทานแนวจักร ๆ วงศ์ ๆ ที่นำโครงเรื่องมาจากนิทานพื้นบ้าน แต่มีตอนจบที่แตกต่างไปจากนิทานทั่วไปเพราะไม่ได้จบด้วยความสุข แต่จบด้วยงานสมโภชศพนางทิพเกสร ชายาของลักษณวงศ์ที่สิ้นชีวิตด้วยการสั่งประหารของลักษณวงศ์เอง
สิงหไกรภพ : เชื่อว่าเริ่มประพันธ์เมื่อครั้งถวายอักษรแด่เจ้าฟ้าอาภรณ์ ภายหลังจึงแต่งถวายกรมหมื่นอัปสรสุดาเทพ และน่าจะหยุดแต่งหลังจากกรมหมื่นอัปสรสุดาเทพสิ้นพระชนม์ สิงหไตรภพเป็นตัวละครเอกที่แตกต่างจากตัวพระในเรื่องอื่น ๆ เนื่องจากเป็นคนรักเดียวใจเดียว
