ช่วงวันหยุดเทศกาลปีใหม่ผมได้มีโอกาสกลับไปเยี่ยมบ้านที่จังหวัดพัทลุง ในวันสุดท้ายของปีเก่าก่อนเข้าสู่ปีใหม่ได้สวดมนต์ไหว้พระขอพร ในตอนเช้าผมได้ใส่บาตรพระสงฆ์พร้อมกับครอบครัว
ครอบครังของผมเป็นครอบครัวที่ใหญ่ ได้มีการเลี้ยงสังสรรค์ในหมู่ญาติและไปสวัสดีปีใหม่ญาติพี่น้องเพื่อนฝูงครูอาจารย์
ในวันต่อมาผมพร้อมด้วยคนในครอบครัว ได้ไปตระเวนไหว้พระ "หลวงปู่ทวด" เพื่อเป็นสิริมงคลที่วัดพะโคะ จังหวัดสงขลา และเดินทางกลับบ้านที่จังหวัดราชบุรี พร้อมกับพ่อและแม่ ระหว่างทางก็ได้แวะซื้อของขวัญของฝากมามอบให้ญาติพี่น้องเพื่อนฝูงอีกด้วย
