ในยุคโลกไร้พรมแดน( Globalization ) ข้อมูลข่าวสาร วิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และวิทยาการต่าง ๆ
มีความเจริญก้าวหน้าอย่างรวดเร็ว ทำให้เกิดการติดต่อสื่อสาร มีความใกล้ชิดมากขึ้น ดังนั้นภาษาอังกฤษที่ใช้ในการติดต่อสื่อสารระหว่างกันจึงมีความสำคัญที่จะทำให้เกิดการสื่อสารและมีสัมพันธภาพที่ดีต่อกัน
ในปัจจุบันการเรียนการสอนมุ่งเน้นในนักเรียนสามารถนำความรู้ ความสามารถที่ได้จากห้องเรียนนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในสถานการณ์จริง และสื่อสารด้วยภาษาต่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะภาษาอังกฤษกับชาวต่างชาติ ซึ่งมีทักษะอยู่ 4 ด้าน คือ ทักษะการฟัง, ทักษะการพูด, ทักษะการอ่าน และทักษะการเขียน ช่วยให้นักเรียนกล้าแสดงออก ทั้งยังเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนฝึกฝนทางด้านการเรียนรู้และมีเจตคติที่ดีต่อภาษาอังกฤษ มีความกระตือรือร้น สนุกสนาน ยังเป็นการพัฒนาตนเองด้านการเรียนรู้ได้ตามศักยภาพของนักเรียน
จากเหตุผลดังกล่าว กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ โรงเรียนไตรมิตรวิทยา จึงจัดโครงการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมนี้ขึ้น
