อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พระนครศรีอยุธยา

๑. ที่ตั้ง

อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พระนครศรีอยุธยามีเนื้อที่ ๑,๘๑๐ ไร่ ตั้งอยู่ภายในเกาะเมืองอยุธยา อำเภอพระนครศรีอยุธยา จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา อยู่ห่างจากกรุงเทพมหานคร ไปทางทิศเหนือประมาณ ๗๕ กิโลเมตร

กรมศิลปากรได้ประกาศขึ้นทะเบียนโบราณสถานอุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พระนครศรีอยุธยาไว้ มีพื้นที่ ๑,๘๑๐ ไร่

๒. ความสำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์
