การปฏิบัติพิธีกรรมทางศาสนาของ ศาสนา

การปฏิบัติพิธีกรรมทางศาสนาของ ศาสนาอิสลาม จะปฏิบัติในสถานที่ที่เรียกว่า “ มัสยิด ” หรือ “ สุเหร่า ” ชาว มุสลิม จะต้องปฏิบัติศาสนกิจให้พร้อมทั้ง 3 ทาง คือ กาย วาจา และใจ หลักปฏิบัติสำคัญใน ศาสนาอิสลาม 5 ประการ ได้แก่

( 1 ) การปฏิญาณตน มุสลิม ต้องกล่าวปฏิญาณว่า “ ข้าพเจ้า ขอปฏิญาณว่า ไม่มีพระเจ้าอื่นใดนอกจากอัลลอฮ์ และแท้จริงมุฮัมมัดเป็นศาสนทูต ( รอซูล ) ของอัลลอฮ์ “ การปฏิญาณนี้เปรียบเสมือนหัวใจของ ศาสนาอิสลาม ต้องทำด้วยความบริสุทธิ์ใจ และมิใช่ทำครั้งเดียว แต่ต้องทำเสมอเมื่อนมัสการพระเจ้า (ละหมาด)

( 2 ) การละหมาด คือ การนมัสการ หรือ การแสดงความเคารพต่อพระเจ้า ทั้งทางร่างกาย และจิตใจ ชาว มุสลิม ทุกคนจะต้องปฏิบัติละหมาดวันละ 5 เวลา คือ ย่ำรุ่ง กลางวัน เย็น พลบค่ำ และกลางคืน ซึ่งก่อนทำละหมาดจะต้องชำระร่างกายให้สะอาด และสำรวมจิตใจให้สงบ

( 3 ) การถือศีลอด หมายถึง การละเว้นจากการบริโภคอาหาร เครื่องดื่ม การร่วมสังวาส ตั้งแต่พระอาทิตย์ขึ้น จนกระทั่งพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน มุสลิม จะต้องถือศีลอดปีละ 1 เดือน คือ ในเดือนรอมาฎอนตามปฏิทินของอิสลาม ผู้ที่ได้รับการผ่อนผันไม่ต้องถือศีลอด ได้แก่ คนชรา หญิงมีครรภ์ แม่ลูกอ่อน คนที่ต้องทำงานหนัก คนเดินทางไกล หญิงขณะมีรอบเดือนหรือหลังคลอด คนป่วย การถือศีลอดเป็นการแสดงถึงความศรัทธาในพระเจ้า ฝึกความอดทน และความมีน้ำใจเอื้อเฟื้อเผื่อแผ่

( 4 ) การบริจาคซะกาต หมายถึง การบริจาคทานให้แก่คนที่เหมาะสม ตามที่ศาสนากำหนด เช่น คนอนาถา เด็กกำพร้า คนขัดสน ผู้เผยแผ่ศาสนา การบริจาคซะกาต เป็นข้อบังคับที่ต้องปฏิบัติ ชาว มุสลิม หรือว่าเป็นหน้าที่ที่จะต้องสละทรัพย์ของตนในอัตราร้อยละ ๒.๕ เพื่อแบ่งปันให้แก่ผู้อื่น เป็นการกล่อมเกลาจิตใจให้เป็นคนเอื้อเฟื้อเผื่อแผ่ ช่วยเหลือซึ่งกันและกัน

( 5 ) การประกอบพิธีฮัจญ์ หมายถึง การไปประกอบศาสนกิจ ณ ศาสนสถานบัยตุลลอฮ์ เมืองมักกะฮ์ ประเทศซาอุดีอาระเบีย การประกอบพิธีฮัจญ์ไม่ได้บังคับให้ชาว มุสลิม ต้องกระทำ แต่ให้ถือเป็นหลักปฏิบัติสำหรับผู้ที่พร้อม และมีความสามารถ คือ บรรลุนิติภาวะ มีสุขภาพดี มีทุนทรัพย์เพียงพอ และมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการประกอบพิธีฮัจญ์เป็นอย่างดี
