บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ ๑) เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทในการเผยแผ่ธรรมของพระสงฆ์ตามในตำบลเวียงยอง อำเภอเมืองลำพูน2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบบทบาทในการเผยแผ่ธรรมของพระสงฆ์ในตำบลเวียงยอง อำเภอเมืองลำพูน ตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล3) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาอุปสรรคและข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับบทบาทในการเผยแผ่ธรรมของพระสงฆ์ในตำบลเวียงยอง อำเภอเมืองลำพูน4) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการเผยแผ่ธรรมของพระสงฆ์ในตำบลเวียงยอง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูนดำเนินการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน อย่างเท่าเทียม (Mixed Reserch Method) ประชากรกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือประชากรที่อยู่ในตำบลเวียงยอง อำเภอเมืองลำพูน จำนวน 6,167 คน ทำการสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้สูตรคำนวณขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างของทาโร่ ยามาแน่ ได้ขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ๓76 คน และเก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม และทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปเพื่อการวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์ เพื่อหาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานในการอธิบายลักษณะข้อมูลทั่วไป และทำการทดสอบสมมติฐานด้วยการทดสอบค่า (t-test) และค่าเอฟ (f-test) ด้วยการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียว (One-Way Anova) เมื่อพบว่ามีความแตกต่างจึงทดสอบความแตกต่างรายคู่โดยวิธีการหาผลต่างนัยสำคัญน้อยที่สุด(Least Significant Difference) และข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ ผู้วิจัยจะทำการจัดกลุ่มข้อมูลตามสาระสำคัญของประเด็นการสัมภาษณ์ จากนั้นทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงเนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่เป็นพบว่าเป็นเพศหญิง จำนวน ๑92 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ

2. ระดับบทบาทในการเผยแผ่ธรรมมะของพระสงฆ์ตามทัศนคติของประชาชนในตำบลเวียงยอง อำเภอเมืองลำพูน พบว่า ประชาชนผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามมีความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการเผยแผ่ธรรมะของพระสงฆ์ในตำบลเวียงยอง อำเภอเมืองลำพูน ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ( = ๓.32) เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ด้าน ด้านสันทัสสนาอยู่ในลำดับมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือด้านสัมปหังสนากับสมุตเตธนาส่วนด้านสมาทปนาอยู่ในลำดับน้อยที่สุด
