งานวิจัยการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการผลิตสีเคลือบไม้จากน้ำยางพารา ที่ได้ศึกษาและทำการทดลองตลอดจนการวิเคราะห์ผลการทดลองทั้งหมดแม้จะสามารถสรุปได้ว่าน้ำยางพารามีความสามารถในการผลิตเป็นสีเคลือบผิวไม้ แต่ก็พบว่ายังมีสิ่งที่ต้องพัฒนาแก้ไขอีกมากมายเพื่อให้น้ำยางพาราสามารถผลิตเป็นสีเคลือบไม้ที่มีคุณสมบัติและคุณภาพสูงเทียบเท่า หรือมากกว่า ดีกว่าสีเคลือบผิวที่ผลิตจากสารเคมี และสารละเหยเช่น แลคเกอร์เคลือบเงาทั่วไป เช่น ความตึงผิวของสีเคลือบผิวที่ผลิตจากน้ำยางพารา หรือความเรียบลื่นของผิว หลังทำการเคลือบสีที่ผลิตจากน้ำยางพาราซึ่งยังคงต้องศึกษาสารปรุงแต่งเพิ่ม เป็นต้น ทั้งนี้ยังต้องศึกษาคุณสมบัติและความต้องการของสีจากผู้ใช้สีเคลือบผิว เพิ่มเติมเพื่อจะได้พัฒนา ให้สีเคลือบผิวที่ผลิตจากน้ำยางพารานี้สามารถ ผลิตออกมาและใช้งานได้ดีจริงตลอดจนต้องทำการวิจัยการยอมรับผลิตภัณฑ์นี้ในท้องตลาด ผลการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการผลิตสีเคลือบไม้จากน้ำยางพาราครั้งนี้ จึงจะเป็นประโยชน์ที่แท้จริง
