การศึกษานับว่าเป็นสิ่งสำคัญอย่างยิ่งสำหรับเด็กไทยทุกคน เป็นสิ่งที่บ่งบอกถึงการพัฒนาและความเจริญก้าวหน้าของประเทศไทย ถึงแม้ว่าปัจจุบันโรงเรียนต่างๆ จะมีระบบการศึกษาที่ดีขึ้น มีสื่อการเรียนการสอนที่เพียบพร้อม มีเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยกว่าในอดีตมากมาย แต่คุณภาพของการศึกษาไทยก็ยังถือว่าต่ำมาก เมื่อเทียบกับประเทศอื่นๆ เพราะว่ายังมีอีกหลายโรงเรียนที่ยังขาดแคลนสื่อการเรียนการสอน ขาดแคลนบุคลากรที่มีคุณภาพ ทำให้คุณภาพของการศึกษาของแต่ละโรงเรียนมีความแตกต่างกัน โรงเรียนบางแห่งยังขาดแหล่งการเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติม ไม่มีห้องสมุดไว้สำหรับอ่านหนังสือ หรือค้นคว้าหาความรู้อื่นๆ หรือมีห้องสมุดแต่ก็มีหนังสือที่ไม่เพียงพอและไม่หลากหลาย ทำให้เด็กนักเรียนไม่มีแหล่งคนคว้าหาเพิ่มรู้ในเรื่องที่สนใจเพิ่มเติม คณะผู้จัดทำจึงได้จัดทำโครงงานนี้ขึ้น ซึ่งทางคณะผู้จัดทำได้มีความเห็นร่วมกันว่าจะเลือกโรงเรียนม่วงหวานพัฒนศึกษา ซึ่งเป็นโรงเรียนที่มีความขาดแคลนทางด้านสื่อการเรียนรู้ต่างๆ ห้องสมุดมีหนังสือไม่เพียงพอ ไม่หลากหลายอีกทั้งยังอยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองหลายกิโลทำให้การมีโอกาสทางการศึกษาน้อย คณะผู้จัดทำมีความประสงค์เพื่อ 1)นำหนังสือไปมอบแก่โรงเรียนม่วงหวานพัฒนศึกษา 2)เพื่อให้เด็กนักเรียนที่ขาดโอกาสทางการศึกษาได้รับความรู้ใหม่ๆ เพิ่มขึ้นจากตำราคู่มือที่คณะผู้จัดทำนำไปบริจาค 3) แนะแนวทางการศึกษาให้แก่นักเรียนโรงเรียนม่วงหวานพัฒนศึกษา 4) เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้รู้จักการค้นคว้าหาความรู้ได้ด้วยตนเองมากขึ้น 5) เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนมีนิสัยในการรักการอ่านมากขึ้น
ผลการศึกษาและจัดทำโครงงานพบว่า หนังสือคู่มือการเรียนต่างๆ กว่า 120 เล่มที่นำไปมอบให้กับน้องๆโรงเรียนม่วงหวานพัฒนศึกษาแล้ว จะช่วยให้น้องๆมีการคู่มือการเรียนเพิ่มมากขึ้นและยังมีหนังสือที่หลากหลายให้น้องๆใช้อ่านในเวลาว่างนอกเวลาเรียนได้ อีกทั้งยังเป็นการกระตุ้นให้น้องๆมีนิสัยในการรักการอ่านเพิ่มมากขึ้น เพื่อให้เด็กนักเรียนได้มีโอกาสที่จะได้ค้นคว้าความรู้ใหม่ๆ เพิ่มขึ้น ได้อ่านหนังสือที่มีความหลากหลายแนวเพิ่มขึ้น และยังเป็นการส่งเสริมการรักการอ่านของเด็กนักเรียนด้วย และคณะผู้จัดทำจะมีแนะแนวทางในการศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษาให้กับเด็กนักเรียนที่สนใจอีก เพื่อเป็นโอกาส และแนวทางที่เหมาะสมสำหรับเด็กนักเรียนที่สนใจ คณะผู้จัดทำหวังว่าโครงงานนี้จะทำให้เด็กนักเรียนมีนิสัยในการรักการอ่านเพิ่มขึ้น ห้องสมุดที่มีหนังสือให้เลือกอ่านเพิ่มขึ้น เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาตนทางด้านการศึกษาที่ดีต่อไป
