การศึกษาหัวข้อพิเศษเกี่ยวกับคอมพิวเตอร์การจัดการหนังสือราชการในรูปแบบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ กรณีศึกษา เจษฎาอพาร์ทเม้นท์ จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด มีวัตถุประสงค์ 4 ประการคือ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาโปรแกรมระบบบริหารจัดการหอพัก 2) เพื่อง่ายต่อการจัดเก็บและค้นหาข้อมูลการเช่าห้อง 3) เพื่อการคำนวณค่าใช้จ่ายต่างๆ ให้มีความแม่นยำถูกต้อง และรวดเร็ว และ 4) เพื่อลดปัญหาข้อมูลสูญหาย และการเก็บข้อมูลที่มีจำนวนมาก
ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คณะผู้จัดทำได้สร้างระบบการจัดการเกี่ยวกับการบริหารจัดการหอพักเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการจัดเก็บการข้อมูลห้องเช่า การสืบค้นข้อมูลภายในหอพัก รวมทั้งเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการจัดการด้านเอกสารให้มีความสะดวก รวดเร็ว และมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น และช่วยลดปัญหาด้านการสูญหายของเอกสาร การสืบค้นข้อมูลของเอกสาร และลดการสิ้นเปลืองทรัพยากรกระดาษ
ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้ ทำให้ได้ระบบบริหารจัดการหอพักที่สามารถนำไปใช้งานได้จริง มีความถูกต้อง เชื่อถือได้ และสามารถนำไปใช้แทนระบบงานเดิมได้
