พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติปราจีนบุรี ตั้

พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติปราจีนบุรี ตั้งอยู่ทางด้านหลังของศาลากลางจังหวัดปราจีนบุรี ประมาณ 200 เมตร เป็นพิพิธภัณฑสถานประเภทประวัติศาสตร์โบราณคดี ก่อตั้งขึ้นเพื่อเป็นศูนย์รวมของโบราณวัตถุในเขต 7 จังหวัด คือ ปราจีนบุรี นครนายก ฉะเชิงเทรา ชลบุรี จันทบุรี ตราด และระยอง ภายในมีการจัดแสดงโบราณวัตถุสำคัญ ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่ได้มาจากเมืองโบราณสมัยทวารวดี อาทิ พระพุทธรูป เทวรูปเคารพในศาสนาฮินดู ศิวลึงค์ ทับหลัง เครื่องใช้สำริด และ จัดแสดงศิลปะในประเทศไทยสมัยต่างๆ ตั้งแต่สมัยก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ ต่อเนื่องจนถึงสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ช่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 เพื่อประโยชน์ในการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบ รวมทั้งเครื่องถ้วยสังคโลกที่พบใต้ทะเล จากบริเวณเกาะคราม จังหวัดชลบุรี นอกจากนั้นยังจัดสถานที่ส่วนหนึ่ง สำหรับนิทรรศการชั่วคราวในโอกาสต่าง ๆ ด้วย พิพิธภัณฑ์เปิดให้เข้าชมวันพุธ-วันอาทิตย์และวันหยุดนักขัตฤกษ์ ตั้งแต่เวลา 09.00-16.00 น. ปิดวันจันทร์ วันอังคาร อัตราค่าเข้าชม ชาวไทย 10 บาท ชาวต่างประเทศ 30 บาท โดยในการประกวดรางวัลอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยว (Thailand Tourism Awards) พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติปราจีนบุรี ได้รับรางวัลดีเด่น ประเภทแหล่งท่องเที่ยวศิลปวัฒนธรรม จากการประกวดรางวัลอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวปี 2547 สอบถามเพิ่มเติมได้ที่ โทร. 0 3721 1586
