ศึกษาวิธีการปลูกเลี้ยงที่เหมาะสมต่อการเจริญเติบโตของการเพาะพันธุ์พรรณไม้น้ำโรทาร่า ทับทิม โดยการทดลองประกอบด้วย 3 ชุดการทดลอง โดยการเลี้ยง 3 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ การปลูกแบบใต้น้ำ การปลูกแบบครึ่งบกครึ่งน้ำ และการปลูกในโรงพ่นหมอก เปรียบเทียบอัตราการเจริญเติบโตระเวลาการปลูก 2 เดือนตั้งแต่วันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน 2556 – 24 มกราคม 2557 ในการปลูกแต่ละรูปแบบ 3 ซ้ำ ซ้ำละ 15 ต้นรวม เวลาทดลอง 60 วัน พบว่าชุดการทดลองที่ให้ผลการเจริญเติบโตของพรรณไม้น้ำโรทาร่า ทับทิม ที่ดีที่สุด คือ ชุดการทดลองที่ 2 การเลี้ยงแบบครึ่งบกครึ่งน้ำ ที่มีน้ำหนัก จำนวนใบ และจำนวนกิ่งที่เพิ่มขึ้น 0.4503 , 12.62 , 1.111 ตามลำดับ รองลงมาคือ ชุดการทดลองที่ 3 การเลี้ยงแบบโรงพ่นหมอก ที่มีน้ำหนัก จำนวนใบ และจำนวนกิ่งที่เพิ่มขึ้น 0.0728 , 4.91 , 0.8222 ตามลำดับ และชุดการทดลองที่ 1 การเลี้ยงแบบใต้น้ำ ที่ไม่มีการเจริญเติบโตของพรรณไม้น้ำโรทาร่า ทับทิม ทั้งน้ำหนัก จำนวนใบและจำนวนกิ่ง 0.0184 , 0 , 0 ตามลำดับ เปรียบเทียบรูปทรงการเลี้ยงแบบโรงพ่นหมอก ของพรรณไม้น้ำโรทาร่า ทับทิม พบว่า การเลี้ยงแบบโรงพ่นหมอกให้รูปทรงที่เหมาะสมกับการประดับตู้ปลา
