การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด ก่อนและหลังการปฏิบัติตนตามแนวทางโนนหอมโมเดล ในเขตเมือง โรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลธาตุเชิงชุม ตำบลธาตุเชิงชุม อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสกลนคร มีกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 40 คน ในช่วงเดือนสิงหาคม - เดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ.2558 เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถามแล้ววิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย 1) สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าต่ำสุด และค่าสูงสุด 2) สถิติเชิงวิเคราะห์ ได้แก่วิเคราะห์สถิติเปรียบเทียบ (McNemar chi-square) สถิติChi-square
