งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการจดจำคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษในการเรียนโดยใช้เกม และไม่ใช้เกม และเพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่ได้เรียนรู้คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษโดยการใช้เกม กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการทาวิจัยครั้งนี้คือนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนการกุศลหลวงปู่ศรีจันทร์วัณณาโภ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเลยจำนวน 30 คน ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2559 ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้จำนวน 2 แผน โดยแบ่งเป็นแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกมการจำนวน 1 แผน และแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษโดยไม่ใช้เกมจำนวน 1 แผน แบบทดสอบคำศัพท์จำนวน 2 ชุด ชุดละ 30 ข้อ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนเรื่องการเรียนคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้เกม ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป ผลการศึกษาพบว่า
