บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเรื่อง “การจัดการสุขภาพแรงงานข้ามชาติบนพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย-ลาว : นโยบายของรัฐและการตอบสนองของภาคประชาสังคมในพื้นที่ จ.หนองคาย ”เป็นการวิจัยที่ใช้วิธีการเชิงคุณภาพเสริมด้วยเชิงปริมาณ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ 4 ประเด็นหลักคือ 1) ศึกษานโยบายด้านสุขภาพสำหรับแรงงานข้ามชาติชาวลาวในประเทศไทยและการจัดการในกรณีโรงพยาบาล สถานีอนามัยของรัฐในจังหวัดหนองคาย 2) ศึกษาการให้บริการและการจัดกิจกรรมด้านสุขภาพขององค์กรพัฒนาเอกชนสำหรับแรงงานข้ามชาติชาวลาวในประเทศไทย 3) ศึกษาเปรียบเทียบจุดอ่อนและจุดแข็งทั้งของภาครัฐและองค์กรพัฒนาเอกชนในการจัดการสุขภาพสำหรับแรงงานข้ามชาติชาวลาวในจังหวัดหนองคาย และ 4) ศึกษาแนวทางการจัดการสุขภาพสำหรับแรงงานข้ามชาติชาวลาวที่เหมาะสม ในประเทศไทย ซึ่งปรากฏผลการศึกษาดังนี้
