1.1 ที่มาและความสำคัญ
ปัจจุบันจักรยานได้รับความนิยมเป็นอย่างมากทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ เนื่องจากจักรยานเป็นพาหนะที่ช่วยประหยัดพลังงานและเป็นการออกกำลังกายที่ดีอีกทางหนึ่ง จึงเป็นที่นิยมกันอย่างแพร่หลาย จักรยานเป็นยานพาหนะสำหรับการเดินทางระยะทางใกล้แทนจักรยานยนต์หรือรถยนต์และเป็นพาหนะในการเดินทางที่ช่วยลดภาวะโลกร้อนตามที่ทั่วโลกได้มีการรณรงค์ไว้ ทำให้ประเทศต่างๆทั่วโลกรวมทั้งประเทศไทยได้หันมาใส่ใจในสุขภาพของตนเองและสุขภาพของโลก แต่ด้วยความเป็นจริงที่ว่าปัจจุบันยังมีรถยนต์มากกว่าจักรยานทำให้การเกิดอันตรายต่อผู้ขับขี่จักรยานมีมาก ดังนั้นเรื่องความปลอดภัยจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญในการใช้จักรยานบนท้องถนน
จะเห็นได้ว่าการเกิดอุบัติเหตุต่อผู้ขับขี่จักรยานเพิ่มมากขึ้น ทางคณะผู้จัดทำจึงได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญเรื่องความปลอดภัยในการขับขี่จักรยานบนท้องถนน จากเหตุผลดังกล่าว ถือได้ว่าเป็นการนำแนวทางหนึ่งในการนำเทคโนโลยีมาประยุกต์ใช้ร่วมกับจักรยาน เป็นระบบกล้องมองหลังอัจฉริยะเพื่อช่วยลดการเกิดอุบัติเหตุทางจักรยานบนท้องถนน

1.2 วัตถุประสงค์
1. ศึกษาการใช้ไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์ เซนเซอร์วัดระยะ ตัวส่งสัญญาณเสียง กล้องและหน้าจอ LCD ที่ใช้ในการแสดงผล
2. เพื่อเพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการใช้จักรยานบนท้องถนนให้มากขึ้น

1.3 ขอบเขตในการศึกษา
1. โปรแกรมที่ใช้ออกแบบโปรแกรมควบคุมและแสดงผลการแจ้งเตือน คือ โปรแกรมArduino
2. โปรแกรมที่ใช้ออกแบบแผนปฏิบัติงาน
คือ โปรแกรม ClickCharts Diagram & Flowchart Software
3. ไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์ที่ใช้ในการทดลอง คือ Arduino UNO
4. เซ็นเซอร์ที่ใช้ในการวัดระยะ คือ LIDAR Lite : SEN - 13167

1.4 ประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ
1. เพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการขับขี่จักรยานบนท้องถนน
2. ลดความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุบนท้องถนน
3. สามารถประยุกต์ใช้งานของไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์ เซนเซอร์วัดระยะ กล้องและหน้าจอ LCD
สำหรับแจ้งเตือนผู้ขับขี่จักรยานบนท้องถนนให้มีความปลอดภัยมากขึ้น
