การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาระหว่างก่อนเรียนกับหลังเรียนได้รับการสอนโดยใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจใช้การสอนด้วยวิธี SQ4R 2) พัฒนาชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการอ่านโดยวิเคราะห์ประสิทธิภาพของชุดกิจกรรมตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักศึกษาสาขาวิศวกรรมเครื่องกล ชั้นปีที่ 3 ปีการศึกษา 2558 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลอีสาน วิทยาเขตสกลนคร เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ 1) ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการส่งเสริมทักษะการเพื่อความเข้าใจ จำนวน 10 ชุด 2) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจใช้การสอนด้วยวิธี SQ4R จำนวน 10 แผน 3) แบบทดสอบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที (t-test for dependent samples)
ผลวิจัยพบว่า
1. ผลสัมฤทธิ์การอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจใช้การสอนด้วยวิธี SQ4R ก่อนและหลังเรียนแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
2. ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการอ่านมีประสิทธิภาพ 77.21/75 ซึ่งเท่ากับเกณฑ์ 75/75
