พัชรีพรรณ ม.รัตนพล ( 2541) ได้ทำวิจัยเรื่อง การศึกษาลักษณะการเรียนรู้และกลวิธีการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนเตรียมอุดมศึกษา กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิธีการเรียนรู้และกลวิธีการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนเตรียมอุดมศึกษา โดยเลือกนักเรียนจำนวน 128 คน โดยสุ่มเป็นกลุ่ม และแบ่งนักเรียนออกเป็น 3กลุ่ม
