วัดศรีมหาโพธิ์ เป็นวัดที่มีพระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัยสมัยสุโขทัย ทำจากเนื้อทองสัมฤทธิ์จำนวน 3 องค์ อายุประมาณ 700 กว่าปี แต่เดิมประดิษฐานอยู่ที่วัดใน (ปัจจุบันเป็นที่ตั้งของโรงเรียนศรีมหาโพธิ์) ต่อมาชาวบ้านได้อัญเชิญมาประดิษฐานยังวัดศรีมหาโพธิ์แล้วต่อมาได้เปลี่ยนนามวัดใหม่ว่า วัดศรีมหาโพธิ์ จนถึงปัจจุบัน
