โครงงานอนุรักษ์ภาษาถิ่นอีสาน วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้เห็นคุณค่าและความสำคัญของภาษาอีสานนำเสนอข้อมูลข่าวสาร ให้ความรู้แก่ผู้คนภาคกลางและอนุรักษ์ภาษาอีสานให้คงอยู่ตลอดไป ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ภาษาถิ่นที่ใช้พูดกันในปัจจุบัน คือภาษาลาวใต้ ใช้ในประเทศลาวปือ จังหวัดที่พูดในประเทศไทยคือ จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี อำนาจเจริญ ศรีสะเกษ ยโสธร และจากการศึกษาพบว่าคนส่วนใหญ่ที่ไม่ชอบพูดภาษาอีสานเพราะว่า อายที่จะพูดเป็นส่วนใหญ่และส่วนหนึ่งไม่ใช่คนอีสานโดยกำเนิดจึงพูดสำเนียงอีสานไม่ถูก และบางส่วนก็ไม่เข้าใจภาษาอีสานที่ไม่ค่อยได้ใช้ เนื่องปัญหาทางภาคอีสานหลายที่ ที่เป็นสังคมเมืองกันมากขึ้นเลยทำให้คนที่จะพูดภาษาอีสานนั้นน้อยลงไปด้วยเช่นกัน
