งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง บรรยากาศ โดยใช้วิธีการสอนตามแบบวัฎจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนบ้านปากปาด อำเภอน้ำปาด จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ 2) เพื่อพัฒนาการจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง บรรยากาศ โดยใช้วิธีการสอนตามแบบวัฎจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนบ้านปากปาด อำเภอน้ำปาด จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนบ้านปากปาด อำเภอน้ำปาด จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ จำนวน 15 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่อง บรรยากาศ โดยใช้วิธีสอนแบบวัฎจักรการสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) จำนวน 4 แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เวลาที่ใช้สอนแผนการเรียนรู้ละ 1-2 ชั่วโมง เวลาเรียนรวม 6 ชั่วโมง 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เป็นแบบเลือกตอบ มี 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 20 ข้อ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิตt-test (Paired - samples) และค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัย พบว่า1) ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง บรรยากาศ โดยใช้วิธีการสอนตามแบบวัฎจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 2) ผลการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่อง บรรยากาศ โดยใช้วิธีการสอนตามแบบวัฎจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนสูงขึ้น แสดงว่าวิธีการสอนแบบวัฎจักรการเรียนรู้ 7 ขั้น ทำให้นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ ก้าวหน้าและนักเรียนเกิดการเรียนรู้อย่างมีความหมายและสามารถนำความรู้ที่ได้รับไประยุกต์ใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ในชีวิตประจำวันได้
